C.H. Spurgeon said, "Intercessory prayer is an act of communion with Christ, for Jesus pleads for the sons of men."

This is Daniel Whyte III with the Prayer Motivator Minute #595 here to remind you that there is still great power in prayer to God Almighty.

Our prayer motivator passage from the Word of God today is Jonah 4:2-3 which reads: "And he prayed unto the Lord, and said, I pray thee, O Lord, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil. Therefore now, O Lord, take, I beseech thee, my life from me; for it is better for me to die than to live."

Our prayer motivator quote today is from Mary Slessor. She said, "Prayer is the greatest power God has put into our hands for service -- praying is harder than doing, at least I find it so, but the dynamic lies that way to advance the Kingdom."
