Our prayer motivator verse from the Word of God today is Proverbs 28:9 which reads: "He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination."

Our prayer motivator quote today is from D. A. Carson. He said: "The person who prays more in public than in private reveals that he is less interested in God's approval than in human praise. Not piety but a reputation for piety is his concern."

Our prayer motivator devotional today is part 8 of a new series titled "THE LIMITLESS POSSIBILITIES OF PRAYER" from Dr. John R. Rice.

Jeremiah 33:3 states, "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."

All of us must surely answer with Jeremiah in Jeremiah 32:17, "Behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee." God is able to give us mighty things.

So the Scriptures continue into the next chapTer where we find this blessed promise of Jeremiah 33:3, "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."
