When my father wrote the corresponding letter in the book Letters to Young Black Men, he was sitting in the Barnes & Noble bookstore in Hamden, Connecticut. Besides the library, a good bookstore is his and my next favorite place to be. If we are not careful, we can spend an entire day in a good bookstore. However, when he visited a bookstore or library, there is always one thing that bothered him, however, and that is the conspicuous absence of young black men.

Today's broadcast explores the awesome benefits that you can gain from regular reading.
