At set intervals kids receive a report card, or some type of evaluation, letting them--and the parents--know how their progress in school.  Depending on the kid's age and grade level, it'll show evaluations of Satisfactory/Unsatis, Stars,  letter grades A-F.  Of course, A is the best , and F is a failing grade.  We'll see some kids natrually excel at doing well, while others struggle to do well, and some don't do well at all.  According to many teachers and psycologists, this outcome is due to many factors including the child' natural aptitide or learning-ability; genetics (e.g., "everybody in that family is smart"); stability of the home environment;  involment of the parents in their child's education and making education a priority.  Well, I want to discuss another factor this morning that's highly important in the success of: kids at school and in life:  following the example of their parents.  This means; acting their like their parents; handling confict like their parents; responding like their parents; strategizing like their parents; setting goals like their parents.  Yes, it's Report Card Time for the PARENTS Now.  Buckle up, and let's go. .
