Marc John Jefferies (born May 16, 1990) is an American actor. Among his best known roles are, Isaiah in the movie "Losing Isaiah", Monsters Inc, Young Marcus in "Get Rich or Die Tryin’, Lil Cease in "Notorious" and Michael Evers in "The Haunted Mansion". Marc also starred on various TV shows. He played Derrick Mitchell on the NBC sitcom The Tracy Morgan Show, and Darius on Treme, the HBO drama series set in post-Katrina New Orleans. Jefferies debuted as the title character Isaiah in the 1995 drama Losing Isaiah as a toddler. He was also featured as a child spokesman in commercials for PeoplePC. Jefferies appeared in many popular films when he was younger, including Stuart Little 2, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle and Spider-Man 2. He was Young Dre in Brown Sugar. He also did voiceovers in the films Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc. He played Derrick on the NBC sitcom The Tracy Morgan Show. In 2005, he portrayed a young Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson in Get Rich or Die Tryin'. In 2009 he portrayed the rapper Lil' Cease in the 2009 feature Notorious, a biopic about The Notorious B.I.G.. He guest starred on the TV series Dexter during its third season as Wendell, a drug dealer's doorman. Jefferies appears in the feature Big Mommas: Like Father Like Son (2012). He portrays Darius on Treme, the HBO drama series set in post-Katrina New Orleans. Marc has several new movies waiting to be released. Marc made cameo's in the movies "L.U.V", starring Common and Meagan Good, and "The Contest", a movie that recently aired on Cartoon Network. Marc just completed a new feature film called, "Brotherly Love".Queen Latifah is the executive producer and it has a very talented young cast. He has several other projects in development.
