The enemy has always had it out for women. We see early on in Genesis, he sought to destroy her and took great pleasure in leading her astray. When God sent the curse upon the entirety of creation, He made sure to state there would be enmity towards the woman and the serpent. Why was He so specific? Because women are powerful.

When God wanted to send His only son, the King of the universe, He didn’t do so with chariots and horses, but through a humble woman. All throughout the bible we see stories of women doing great and powerful things.

So what is the biblical path to becoming a wise woman, one with power and authority?

First, a woman who is going to shake the walls of Hell through prayer.

Second, a woman who is going to be on the front lines of God’s army must be respectful.

And lastly, but most importantly, a woman who is to be greatly used by God must be one who has no sympathy for sin. One who is not afraid to identify things that are not in the will of God, and boldly remove them from her household or church. Not for the sake of following a set of rules, but to fiercely protect those she has been put over.

Satan has always been afraid of women and for a good cause. What power they hold! We celebrate women take time always, to reflect on the brave women who have gone before you in your own life, and have paved the way through strength and dignity.

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but, a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate (Proverbs 31: 30-31 NKJV).
