A Courageous Toastmaster Brings Awareness to the Stigma of Mental Illness!

Heather Croas, Wizard of Photography, used the confidence she gained as a Toastmaster to use her Photographic Art skills to educate the public about Mental Illness. On May 17, 2018 she was able to complete her first personal art exhibit/panel discussion as part of her High Performance Leadership Project. Before Toastmasters, she would never have had the courage to attempt a project of such scope. She is now actively looking for another location to present her Photographic Art and chair a panel discussion to reach even more people in the community to help them better understand how the stigma associated with mental illness affects the community as a whole.  Show Host:  Barb Wallac
