April 14, 2012 Basketball Tournament. www.spreading-joy.org March and basketball go hand in hand!  We are excited that our next event is centered around encouraging some young people to simply come, play some 3 on 3 and have a grand time.  We are sponsoring this event - meaning we are providing encouragement as well as some prizes for the winners and basketballs for each child that signs up. 
We need your help! 
Many children cannot play sports through out the year due to the fact that it is normally $100-175 for the registration fees, much less dream of playing in a 3 on 3 tournament. 
This tournament is for such children.  It is FREE of Charge and we are giving the top team a $150.00 gift card to Foot Locker  - a dream shopping trip for them. 
Maybe you would like to purchase basketballs and send them? 
Maybe you would like to donate towards the basketballs?
Maybe you'd like to help us be able to do something for the 2nd place team? We want to give them at least a $50 gift card to a local sports store but could use help in funding this. 
This even is April 14th.  You could painlessly contribute by donating $10 a paycheck or a donation in March and then at the first of April. 
You could share the link with friends, family and co-workers, asking if they could help bring some joy and inspire some young people simply by supporting this free tournament.
