The Diamond in the Rough talk show-Guest Roderick Wilmore

My guest today is Roderick Wilmore who states, "My artistic expression propelled on the South Shore in 2003 when I was casted in 'Ragtime, The Musical'. This experience was the proverbial 'bite' that opened my eyes to an exciting world and a part of me that was essentially asleep for far to many years. The following subsequent productions at The Company Theatre were 'A Christmas Story', 'Show Boat', 'Aida', 'To Kill A Mockingbird'. The next musical productions at Massasosit Community College were 'Dreamgirls' and 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' only feed my desire to want to expand into film. My most recent musical production was 'The Wizard of OZ' at Foxboro's Orpheum Theatre. I have been a background actor for 'The Game Plan', '21', 'Pink Panther 2' and 'Paul Blart: Mall Cop'. I have also been on set for 'The Company Men'. As for independent films, I was Kamal in 'Life, Love and Loss', an extra in 'Office Rampage', and Mike in 'Wanted: A New Bottom Line for America and Oneself'. As for commercials, I was a referee in a recent EF Educational Tours shoot and a face in a recent HP Hood milk commercial. As for tv, I was on set for CW's Hitched or Ditched' and 'See Kate Run' as a background extra. As for print modeling, I was a fitness model for a Human Kinetics book on strength training. As for training videos, I was a gym teacher in a federal educational video project (Awareness and Action) on disability information and reporting, which has been completed. There will be distribution to four states in the Fall of 2009. At present, I am apart on a play by Shakespeare in Plymouth, 'Pericles, Prince of Tyre', which plays from July 24 to August 2. I am also on a call list, if selected, for 'Deal or No Deal'. I continue to look for opportunities to grow, perform and entertain." www.youtube.com/user/plycomtheatre
