Jason Hart, AIA and Principal of Cube Design + Research takes us on a tour of his project, The Carrboro House. This is a residence that is 1,750 square feet, sustainable and designed with sensitivity to the natural surroundings of the lot.
The second half of the show, Dr. Anantha Aiyyer, the home owner describes the process of working with an architect and designing a home with sustainability and beauty. Serving as our Guest with Guts, Anantha describes the process of defining a family's needs including "aging in place" needs and how the process of shaping space unfolds.
