A Cool Jazz Conversation with Stanley Jordan

Four time Grammy Nominee Stanley Jordan brings new meaning to versatility in his performing. Having started with the piano then going to the guitar you might see him perform playing both instruments simulaneously. This is the classic example of why he can be considered a genius. The other of course is the two hand techinique with the guitar. He has also owned a bokostore in Sedona, AZ where he currently resides as he not only has a strong belief inconnecting msuic with nature but with music education as well. His latest album is entitled "Friends", is appropriately named as he has many friends joining him including Ronny Jordan, Regina Carter and Christian McBride. we see Mr. Jordan tackle blues, rock and straight ahead jazz in this incredibly done album that is Mr. Jordan's second for Mack Avenue Records.
