Amber Guyger is the white police officer who murdered Botham Jean in 2018. He was an innocent black man minding his own business in what shouldve been the safety of his own home. However, Guyger supposedly mistook Botham's apartment for her own, although there were stark and obvious differences. Guyger was convicted of murdering Jean and sentenced to just ten (10) years in prison last week. After a week-long trial riddled with drama, the jury rejected Guyger’s self-defense claim and delivered a murder conviction — a verdict many have called historic. Simply because cops kills and get away with murder. In this case Guyger did. Ten years for Guyger will be nothing short of five.
And now we have the murder of Joshua Brown, a key witness for the prosecution in this case. Ten days after he testified in the murder trial of the former Dallas police officer, key witness Joshua Brown was gunned down at his apartment.
