Welcome back to Before Bedtime! This week we are so privileged to have Danielle Booth, Tamara Zenobia Coleman, and Erik Barstow to interview with us on the show this week. Danielle sadly was not able to join us last week, so we have decided to have her again. Danielle is an acclaimed author of a wonderful cookbook that has many delicious recipes that will help prevent cancer. Her story is one that needs to be told, and a perfect fit for Before Bedtime. Our next guest is Tamara Zenobia Coleman. Born and raised in Alaska, Tamara has just begun her life adventures as an artist and traveler. At the age of 24 she moved to Seattle, Washington were she lived for five years, pursuing a career in real estate. After much hard work and no success in the business she decided to return home and ponder her next great adventure. It was at that time she decided to move to Paris, France where she currently lives and works as artist (vocalist, musician, writer). She is the founder and President of “The African American Culture Exchange” which is a non profit organization based in Paris, France which aims at educating the local population about the true culture and history of African Americans in the United States. In addition to working on her own music she also works as a booking agent for several Paris based musicians. Tamara was inspired to create this documentary based on her experiences as a Black Alaskan in France and the general misconceptions she faces regarding her origins. I look forward to hearing Tamara's fascinating experiences and stories. Rounding out our night we have Erik Barstow. Erik is a photographer for the military, and he has been to several countries, taken many wonderful photographs, and truly has some words of inspiration and wisdom to share to us on Before Bedtime.
