0010 2011, Mon, Jan 31, Conservative Latino Talk Radio is America's leading conservative talk show from the Latino perspective. On today’s show, I read a comment on a friend’s Facebook page about the formation of the Hispanic Republican Conference of Texas. The writer, Mrs. Allen, commented that she could not support such activity as it is and supports further racism in America. I recognize that there is racism and ethnically based violence and cultural bias in America and everywhere and there always has been. I submit that it is part of the human condition, is systemic, unavoidable, and inescapable. Fortunately we have the US Constitution which provides for the rights and responsibilities of individuals, the States and the Federal government. And we have the courts which are supposed to, if everyone is honest, provide fairness and equitable solutions to the inevitable disputes that arise among people, ethnicities and localities. Then, after skipping only one beat, I wade into “identity politics” by discussing news about how some groups of non-Latinos are attacking the rights of Latinos and ALL Americans by attacking the 14th amendment. “Somos Republicans” and organization devoted to the “identity politics” of Latinos in America is recognized by the National Journal and I read that article as well.
