0048 2010, Tues, Mar 16, Conservative Latino Talk Radio. Lauro discusses yet another missed opportunity by Republicans in Texas to embrace Latinos by failing to promote Latino heritage in both America and Texas as demonstrated by the Texas State Board of Education in Austin recently. Lauro again stresses how Latinos are both integral to Texas and American history yet are virtually ignored in the schoolbooks of Texas which, according to many sources, serves as a the model for other states. Lauro reads how former House majority leader Dick Armey of Texas complains there are factions within the Tea parties determined to drive away Latino voters. Lastly, Lauro reads an article that reports on the frustration of Congressman Bart Stupak with regard to his Party, the Democrats, who are not interested in his Pro-Life agenda. Lauro is not surprised.
