0047 2010, Mon, March 15, Conservative Latino Talk Radio discusses news & current events. Lauro mentions the importance of political involvement with the issues. Becoming informed and voting is a duty for citizens. But becoming informed is difficult especially with the "fog & smoke" surrounding the many issues, events & topics out there. Lauro explains how one, now, can see through that and investigate independently. Lauro then advocates for the Republican Party & its leadership with conservative ideals but criticizes the party for being too easily swayed off topic into areas or into rhetoric that has been self destructive. Immigration reform is one such topic and it comes to the forefront this week as an Immigration reform protest is sceduled for this next Sunday, March 21, 2010. Lauro reads one short essay from Irish Central and another essay from "Latina Lista" which decries the propagandist efforts of NumbersUSA to enlist members of the "Tea Parties" to agitate and disrupt the upcoming March. The article warns Republicans not to come down on the wrong side of this issue. So does Lauro.
