Don't miss this open and honest conversation with Taylor Diaz Going. His story will inspire you but also make you angry at the system of child welfare. Entering the Foster Care System at age 3 with his 2 sisters he had already experienced neglect and exposure to drug addicted parents.Adopted at age 5 with his sisters he was a survivor of multiple losses and moves while in care. Returned to foster care at age 8 by his adoptive parents he was placed in residential psychiatric and group facilities until he was adopted at age 12. Off all Medications currently, Taylor was prescribed over 30 psychotropic medications from age 5 until 11 and over all was placed in a total of 47 placements. Seperated from his sisters he fought diligently to keep connected to them , going to court to ask the Judge to advocate for him. His inner strength has allowed him to achieve what the System of Care told him never would. Taylor is an 11th grade Honor roll student, active in ROTC and Beta programs and Captain of his High School Baseball Team. His passion for life is contagious. LISTEN, LEARN and Be INSPIRED!
