Barbara owns Influential Energy located in Curacao.  She is a first generation born in San Francisco, California to parents of Eurasian descent (Chinese, Portuguese, Scottish English and Malaysian). Her family immigrated from China to the States. She moved from San Francisco to Curacao and opened a dive shop with her husband, divorced and then stayed on the island.   She spent 22 years in a corporate banking institution before leaving the J.O.B. and opened her  “eindmaanszaak,” (one-man business) called Influential Energy after becoming a John Maxwell Trainer.  She has a passion for youth, animals (dogs in particular) and the environment.   Her melody line is: “Propelling aspiring leaders to achieve their dream with passionate curiosity and influential energy! Being the voice for those who have none.  She loves running, diving, animal rescue above and below the water and being outdoors in nature.”
