September 21st is the annual International Day of Peace, when millions of people, worldwide, come together to celebrate and hold Peace Day events – such as concerts, workshops, vigils, and school projects. Based on last year's reports, it is estimated that there will be over 10,000 events, sponsored by thousands of organizations. Over 200 million people will participate in hundreds of countries.
