Kentrell Lockett, Ole Miss DE - Players Spotlight

While Ole Miss’ Greg Hardy gets most of the attention, junior defensive end Kentrell Lockett is an accomplished player as well. Lockett recorded 11.5 tackles for a loss among his 36 tackles in 2008 and had the blocked PAT heard around the world—the one that preserved the Rebels’ one-point win over the Florida Gators. Two games into 2009, Lockett has 2.5 tackles for a loss, including a sack. His Rebels take on the South Carolina Gamecocks Thursday night in their SEC opener.
