#236: Beth Torina, Head Coach LSU Softball, visits The Coach Roges Show to preview the upcoming 2018 season for the Tigers.  The spring slate features 37 home contests at Tiger Park in a 56-game schedule, hosting games against 11 teams that were in last year’s NCAA tournament field. For the entire schedule, the Tigers will face a total of 22 opponents that appeared in the NCAA tournament field.  Coming off three-straight appearances in the Women’s College World Series, only one of two teams to claim that feat, LSU returns six positional starters and three pitchers from last year’s team that went 48-22 overall and 12-12 in the SEC.  The Tigers will host the Tiger Classic, Purple and Gold Challenge, LSU Invitational and the LSU Round Robin. When added with a game against University of Illinois at Chicago on Feb. 8 and the University of Louisiana-Monroe on Feb. 13, the Tigers will play each of their first 11 games at home and 21 of their first 27 in Tiger Park.  Tigers Facebook, Tigers Twitter, Tigers IG, Coach Torina TwitterTCRS TwitterTCRS Facebook
