Bio for 'ol Ken Hamblin: Ken has been working in the wrestling business to some degree and in some fashion for many decades. He worked for the Don Owen Portland Wrestling taking pictures and working on the programs. Over the years he's worked in the office of several promotions, he's ring announced, and he's been the authority figure for many promotions around the PNW. Ken is a true historian of wrestling and has a lot of knowledge about the sport as a whole and the Pacific Northwest in particular. He's a lifetime member of the CAC and is very active in that organization. He brings that knowledge with him as a ring announcer and/or authority figure. Ken is well prepared as an announcer and makes sure he has all of the important information that he needs before hitting the ring. If something happens that is unexpected and delays things then Ken is totally capable of keeping things flowing with the fans not noticing. Ken is very good about plugging concessions and merchandise and upcoming shows so that fans are directed to where else they can spend money during the show. Ken's experienced enough that he can help fans navigate your show if they are new to it. He's also fan friendly and will talk to the fans during intermissions. Ken also has lots of experience in being the commissioner/president/general manager type figure on shows. He's got a strong enough presence about him that fans will buy him standing up to heels in order to keep them in line. Fans seem to, naturally, accept him as the head of a promotion and that makes things go really smoothly when he has to interact with the wrestlers as the authority. Ken's great to have in the locker room because it gives you someone with a ton of experience that may have answers to any questions that arise. He's seen and experienced way more than most have in the business so he can be of great help. Ken also attends a lot of live shows that he's not booked on as a fan.#NWP
