Patsy Henry grew up on a farm but she never had a pet. That is, until her husband surprised her with a real live bunny for Easter. As she learned to take care of the bunny, she found it such a joy to watch her pet rabbits run and play and today shares that joy wtih others through her children's books. Patsy has learned rabbits don't have hair when they are born, but they have teeth. She learned that when the time apporaches for a bunny to give birth, she pulls her own hair out to make a soft nest for her baby bunnies. For me, cnyurbanguy, I was introduced to the bunnies in my grammar book of the first grade when Peter Rabbit became the bane for Farmer Mc Gregor. I'll be anxious to learn more about bunny rabbits. Sounds like loads of fun. Join in the fun, listen live this Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 10:30 AM EASTERN time.
