Born in the South in the 1940's, Pat Holland Conner was the African-American girl witht he white skin. She lived in secrets and in shame and dealth with intolerlance from her family in the black and white communities. At age 50, divorced and discouraged, she knew she had to make a change; she joined the Peace Corps and for seven years she worked in communities in Asia and the MIddle East, a time that brimmed wtih personal growth. And she discovered that she fit n everyway. Pat shares her journey of living a multicultural life with a book: Finding Peace, Power and Passion, it is to be released this month.
