CornBread Fed Welcomes Flora Brown to the Dinner Table

Flora Brown is a Certified Guided Autobiography Facilitator and Trainer and part of the Birren Center for Autobiographical Studies.  She received a B.A. in English, a Masters in Education and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Southern California. 

Mrs. Brown enjoyed teaching junior high through university levels for 20 years in Los Angeles and another 20 years teaching critical thinking at Fullerton College.

With the help of her husband, she earned the title  "Mom" to four children, one of whom has expanded our family to include 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren (on last count.)

Now Professor Emeritus, Flora published 13 books, the most recent of which is Color Your Life Happy Do It My Way Journal. 

In her life story workshops, she shared her love of stories and belief in their power to enrich lives through writing, sharing and preserving life stories and life experiences.
