For more than 30 years, the Pell Grant program has helped hard-working students from low-income and working-class families afford college. Amid the federal debt crisis, however, Pell is now on the budgetary chopping block. If cut, the college dreams of nearly 10 million students will be at risk. In this episode, representatives from a coalition of college interns will discuss their brainchild: SAVE PELL DAY.  On July 25, Save Pell Day participants aim to use email, social media channels, and the blogosphere to flood the offices of the President and Congress with one message: SAVE PELL. The interns will discuss how they came together, what they collectively  hope to accomplish, and what others, of all ages, can do to help Save Pell.
