Open up your worst cabinet or the pantry. Spend 5 minutes decluttering. Then spend 5 minutes organizing. Spend the last 5 minutes getting everything put back into place & dealing with anything that you don't want back in there.

Step 1 - Apply clothes pin to nose. Step 2 - Toss anything unrecognizable. Step 3 - wipe down the shelf. Repeat as needed. Remove clothespin. Smile.

What else can a toothbrush be used for? The ick in the cracks. You might need something stronger than windex for this one. Apply chemicals, let the PhD's scrub for 2 minutes while you peek under the sink - eek! - then apply elbow grease.

Does your kitchen self clean? Funny, neither does mine! My counters are getting cluttered and icky. Let's spend 5 minutes putting stuff away, then 5 minutes scrubbing them down really well. 5 minutes to put the good stuff back in place... more
