Philadelphia native, Renair Amin is nonplussed amongst her peers. A bold, beautiful, business-minded woman, Renair will join The Siren, hostess of the Claudia Moss Show, to discuss her many hats worn exceptionally, fashionably well. A Punany Poet, Renair understands the power and majesty of the voice as a medium of change, entertainment and culture. As a spoken word artist, she has performed extensively, gracing stages in Atlanta, Rochester, Philadelphia and New York City, where she hosts Speak Your Myne Harlem, a monthly open mic showcase of her creation. An accomplished author, Miss Amin has written for various print and online publications including Gay Black Female Magazine, SABLE Magazine, and Deep HUES e-zine. Her short fiction appears in Nghosi Books anthology, Longing, Lust and Love: Black Lesbian Stories. In addition, her play, "The Ride," was a featured staged reading at the 3rd Annual Potpourri's Reading Festival. She is featured on Nghosi Books, Femme Noir, Sistahs for Sistahs, Soulful Pen Xpressions and Kuma.com websites. A natural in the spotlight, Renair performed in Kimbery Q's "Erotica Monologues: Orchids" and Wesley Curtis' "Windows in Harlem." Behind the scenes, Renair Amin has produced venues for Mo Beasley of UrbanErotika fame, James Saunders III, founder of Black Pride NYC, and performance artist Nhojj, among others. Indeed, Amin is a star to follow. As a motivational speaker, she was a presenter at the Empowering Women Workshop, in Charlotte, N.C. In 2006, Renair formed Pmyner, Ltd., a media and entertainment company created to provide services to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender literary, visual and performance arts communities.
