TUNE INTO CIVIL ALERT to gain insight about the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People, an international standard which addresses the inalienable rights to self-determanation, right to a name and nationality, and fair press and representative education that correctly represents the indigenous peoples of the Earth. Philadelphia has designated the 2nd Saturday in October to be Indigenious People's Day and El Shafiq Ali played a role in bringing this to fruition. El Shafiq Ali, is one of the original cofounders/co-host of Civil Alert Radio when the show aired in Philly from 2000-2008. Since the show, he has been diligent with being involved in community affairs.
