Diana Sarah Universal Circle of Creation Centered Spirituality

    in Religion

Teachings from all of the wisdom tradtions and various religions and philosophies from the East and the West, brought to you at your doorstep.  We draw on the mystical tradtion, a tradition present in all religions and philosophies, that was often only revealed to the insiders after the religion became popular and had garnered power.  The Institutional religion is often different from the mystical religion, the one given by the founder and the teacher, because being alive and being a mystic doesn't serve any institution that demands blind obedience well. At the Circle we take you back to the universal, mystic core of all traditions so that you may know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

New Heights Show on Education with Host Charlotte McGuire

    in Education

Topic:  “Will Common Core lead to Nationalize Education?”

"Charlotte will share truths, and dispel myths about Common Core.  So families can come together in knowledge, action, and voices for education."  Common Core is a set of national academic standards for designated subjects, currently, Mathematics and English language arts/literacy (ELA).  These learning goals outline what a student should know and be able to do at the end of each grade throughout their K-12 education. The standards were created to ensure all students graduate from high school with knowledge and skills to be college and career ready. This episode will focus on one perspective and its background and premises for the development of Common Core national standards.

    Our Mission:

The New Heights Educational Group Inc. supports literacy for children and adults by offering a range of educational support services.  Such services include assisting families in their selection of schools, organization of educational activities, and acquisition of materials.  We promote a healthy learning environment and offer enrichment programs for families of preschool and school age children, including children with special needs.

What Makes a Family: An interview with the Henderson-Strong's

    in Lifestyle

Same-Sex Marriage is legal in 37 of the 50 United States. It is a definitely controversial issue -for some- that further redefines the word 'family'. Earlier this year a video entitled "Love Has No Labels" was released and went viral. It is a simple statement that has couples of diverse make-ups stand behind a screen that only shows their skeletons. When the couples emerge from behind the screen viewers are amazed to see various degrees of love i.e., gay couples, interracial relationships, different faiths, etc. which showcases that true love has no color, gender, or sexual orientation. I invited Jason and Anthony Henderson-Strong (a couple featured in the video) to be my special guests so we can discuss their road to becoming legally married gay men and new fathers to a wonderful son.
