Our guest, Bill Boyles, is a recovered Christian Recovery leader I have known for many years.

I met Bill while doing a series of A.A. Heritage Seminars at the Wilson House (birthplace of A.A. cofounder Bill W.) in East Dorset, Vermont. Bill attended twice. And it was clear he was a devoted Christian who saw the importance of early A.A.’s biblical roots in recovery from alcoholism and drugs today.

Since we first met, I have seen Bill leave an important executive position at a Delaware utility, align himself with Christian leaders in recovery, and help other alcoholics and addicts get well by turning to God.

Bill runs a nonprofit ministry that provides Christian treatment for alcoholics and addicts. He helped fund my Second Nationwide Alcoholics Anonymous History Conference in Delaware. He has become what he calls himself—the “Book Man.” He has purchased hundreds and hundreds of my A.A. history books, circulated them among his church friends, and passed them out free to newcomers in Delaware. Recently, he came from Delaware to attend and speak at our International Christian Recovery Conference at Golden Hills Community Church in Brentwood, California.

I know we'll hear of’ the Christian recovery happenings at Won Way Out in Camden Wyoming, Delaware. And Bill will  tell us a little about himself, family, church, bouts with alcohol and drugs, actions in 12 Step groups, and his treatment programs today.

Bill is Executive Director of Won Way Out Ministries, Inc., 8345 Westville Road, Camden Wyoming, Delaware--a private company established in 2005 and incorporated as a Miscellaneous Denomination Church.

And now Bill will tell us the details of his Christian recovery ministry, mission, vision, and plans.
