DaVida Chanel is a producer, writer and actress currently based in New Orleans, La. The emerging artist is producing projects for film, television, new media and the stage, currently promoting her play, "Hip Hop Is Alive". Also, concerned about the lack of self esteem in young women, DaVida Chanel is also producing a series of workshops to help cultivate esteem through the visioning process for teen age girls.

I'm Dearnatural62, I've been natural for little over two years now, I did my Big Chop on Sept 2010.  I started my YouTube channel Dearnatural62 sharing my dos and don'ts and products that have worked for me.  I enjoy sharing my story and currently covering events like the Nzuri Fest, and the SF Natural Hair Show, providing video and photos.  I had no idea where this journey of being natural would lead me, but I do love the RIDE!
