Sarah Edwards is a Minneapolis based-entrepreneur with a focus on combining fashion, philanthropy and community to create meaningful experiences that celebrate DOERS AND MAKERS. A self-proclaimed “non-perfectionist” Sarah operates from a driving philosophy of “What if? Why not?”

Edwards is the creator of I AM MPLS!, an annual fashion/variety show that celebrates the Twin Cities creative community. The night encapsulates fashion, comedy, music and art. Instead of your standard issue models walking the runway, Sarah gathers the crème de la crème of local talent within the community to model looks from local boutiques and designers. "Models” include hair stylists, filmmakers, mixologists, designers, writers, photographers, tattoo artists, restaurateurs, and yoga instructors.

Edwards’ latest venture is I AM Kindness. Born out of frustration when trying to get involved with volunteering. She thought, “Why isn’t there a way I can go do nice things in my community when I have time, and not stress about it when I don’t?”. The organization consists of a group of “no-strings-attached” volunteers that perform acts of kindness throughout the city. Kindness acts include giveaway gift bags to city bus drivers, painting/ice cream social with kids, and senior makeovers where they spend the day pampering the folks with manicures, makeup, hair, fashion styling and photography.
