Dread Effect

These guys got a serious sound that will have you craving more and are a sure-fire band you will want to get out and see live!
BAND BIO:

The crushing wall of sound that is DREAD EFFECT is the result of six very experienced and talented individuals.

After the break up of their previous band Chairoscuro, twin brothers Clif and Richard Chambliss decided to form a new band in June 2005. A couple of phone calls later, they secured long time friends Andy Mayor for Keyboards and Erik Vanerstrom on drums.

Four months later, DREAD EFFECT still needed a singer. They spotted an ad for an available vocalist with similar influences at a local music store. After a successful audition and recording, vocalist Tim Likes completed the line up for DREAD EFFECT.

After almost 2 years of success, Dread Effect decided to part ways with Clif and Erik. After an exhausting search and audition process, Dread Effect decided on Richard's best friend Chris Muench on drums.

Steve Eller later joined the band in 2009 after Dread Effect went through a series of creative and line-up changes.

In July of 2010 Steve Eller left Dread Effect. Chad Thomas stepped in on Bass. John Snavely also joined the band on guitar, making Dread Effect a two Guitar act.

The influences that flow from DREAD EFFECT include; progressive metal, thrash, metal-core, nu-metal, industrial-goth, euro-metal and jazz fusion. Their musical preferences meld to form a common sonic ground of heavy music that is complex, yet catchy and melodic.
