Justin Danner is a native of Orangeburg S.C. where he attended Orangeburg –Wilkinson High School. After high school, Danner would remain in Orangeburg as he earned a full scholarship to play linebacker at South Carolina State University under legendary Head Coach Willie Jefferies. Danner is a 2000 graduate of SCSU and earned All Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference honors as a player during his tenure. 

Coach Danner began his coaching career at his high school Alma mater where he spent 6 years serving as defensive coordinator. Danner would land his first head coaching opportunity at Darlington High School where he would remain for the next four seasons. Darlington High School made the playoffs in his third season and he received conference coach of the year honors.  After his stint at Darlington High School Danner would remain in the Darlington County School system serving as and assistant coach under Coach Jeff Calabrese at neighboring Hartsville High School. While at Hartsville High  for the next 4 years the Red Foxes made two state championship appearances  finishing as  Class 3A champions in 2012 and runners-up in 2014.  Coach Danner is currently the head football coach  Lee Central High School in Bishopville South Carolina. Danner is in his second year at Lee Central high where the Stallions finished with their first winning season and playoff appearance since 2012 going (7-4). Danner received the 2A Lower State Coach of the year Award in South Carolina.
