This week, The Doc is joined by long-time friend of the podcast, J Cool "The NXT Guru," to discuss what some are calling the Wednesday Night War.

NXT vs. AEW is nearly upon us.  Real or perceived, this battle for Wednesday night supremacy is the kind of head-to-head competition that wrestling fans have clamored for since the Monday Night War ended in 2001.  J Cool, who has written weekly recaps for WWE's yellow brand for years on Lordsofpain.net, offers his insight into what we could expect from NXT when it moves to a live, 2 hour format.  Doc has some pointed questions he hopes The Guru can answer, including what the expectation should be for the early victor in the ratings battle.

The pair also discusses All Elite Wrestling, which has already announced several key matches and features for its first month or so of programming leading into its next pay-per-view.  There is more ticket demand for Tony Khan and his band of merry men and women, but in a division vs. division comparison to NXT, which brand appears to be the overall strongest?

J Cool is one of Doc's favorite wrestling discussion partners, so they hope you enjoy their chat!
