The host, me, accidentally hit the mute button with my ear toward the end, so there's a little dead air. Please scrub forward to hear the ending of the show. Thank you for your patience while I figure out how to work LIVE on blogtalkradio. :-)

In the Friday edition of The Central Valley Hornet, Athens Abell talks about local, and statewide issues.

News of the 9 mayors working group of Stanislaus county will be discussed with Mayor Virginia Madueno, from Riverbank.

Out of Riverbank, an update on City Councilman, Jesse James White.

Other interesting news include a segment with the Modesto Crime Prevention Unit, and national politics with Anthony Martinez, from Turlock.

Events covered will be the Artists Open Studio Tour, the Sunset Lions Club event, and other events around the Central Valley. An excerpt from "Yukon Murders" will be heard at the 3/4 mark of the show.

Fundraisers and fun events on St. Patrick’s Day is also a highlight.
