Did Christ promise you a Rose Garden?

I assure you, he did not. So what makes folks so surly and cynical when they them self come to Christ and ask him for the promises he states.
Never have I read that Christ promised anyone a rose garden. Life doesn’t always get easier or even better when you take upon yourself his yoke or even if you ask to carry his cross.
This program is geared to those new Christian believers that start to question the whole of Gods word and before they know it, have fallen spiritually into the proverbial pit and don't want to have the burden of the Christian faith upon them anymore.
This message will hopefully straighten a few folks out as to the true meaning of what it is to be or call oneself a follower of Christ .
