House Churches and Finding Salvation (aka Enlightenment) in the Everyday

Join us as we discuss the return to house churches that is sweeping the country. Are house churches the same as institutional religion, but smaller? What are the hot button issues in house churches? Why do they succeed and why do they fail? Join us as we look at the house church movement, what some are calling a return to the biblical church! The second part of our show will look at redefining salvation, which has been understood as salvation from an angry God seeking to abuse us for being human, as enlightenment (also known as "being awake"). In light of our quest to become enlightened, or fully awake, we will look at the path to becomming enlightened. Is in the in Bible or other holy books? Is it to be found in retreat? Is it in pilgrimage? Or is it, just maybe, right in front of us?
