Susan Pohlman is the author of "Halfway To Each Other: How a Year in Italy brought our Family Home". In addition, she has written three, award-winning short films. The Toast received two awards in the 2008 TIVA-DC Peer Awards, and Here,There, and Everywhere received awards in four categories in the 2009 TIVA-DC Peer Awards. The Misadventures of Matilda Mench won best screenplay in the 2010 Baltimore 48 Hour Film Project. Halfway to Each Other is her first book.
