Be who God says you are. Have faith in that. Faith builds confidence in God’s promises! Strengthening your faith builds character! This is what you were built to be. The King gave the Jews permission to fight for themselves in the book of Ester. The decree had already gone out that the Jews were to be annihilated. But after Queen Esther went to the king, the King then granted permission for the Jews to defend themselves. When they heard that word their very character became strengthened. Fight for yourself! Received the word of God. When Gideon received the word from the angel that he was a mighty man of valor he believed it.  Gideon went for hiding alone to gathered 3,000 men willing to go to war! Take up your cross and bare it. Ruth's faith in God was built on the stories she had. This gave her a tenacity and character to hope for that which was hopeless and for that which was not seen. She told her mother-in-law I would rather live with you God than live without Him. Have faith in God! Build your shield of faith and let it build strong character in you.
