God’s shield provides comfort because He keeps us under the shadow of His wings. He protects us. Jesus said I come that you might have life and that more abundantly. So He shields us from the discomfort of this world, such as fear, which has torment. The Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, gives us power over the enemy. Receive His spirit! He is our healer, our protector, our keeper and our comfort. Jesus said cast your care on me for I care for you. Adam and Eve had rest in the garden. They had no fear. Nothing discomforted them because they had no sin. After they sinned we all were born in sinful flesh. Jesus died to redeemed us from the curse of sin and death. Come unto me, all you who are weary and heavy burdened, and I will give you rest. This is the promise of our Lord Jesus Christ. He wants to protect us. But we have to to let Him. That is a choice! Allow His shield to fight off the fiery darts of the wicked. He says be shielded through your faith in me. Be comforted through the power of the Holy Spirit with lives in you. God has purchased us with a price. We are the temple of His Holy Spirit. We belong to him. We do not have to worry or fret. We can choose to be comforted by God. We can choose to be shielded and protected emotionally, physically, and financially. Just believe and trust God as your only source. He will provide. Without faith it is impossible to please God. Put on the shield of faith and know that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him!
