From Prostitute to Poet! (The Barefoot Broadcast with Joanna Eden, Franji Cassini & Carl Munson)

A young English woman in Australia, Joanna Eden found herself choosing to work in a brothel because the money was so much better than bar work. Once in the sex industry she learned how to make the men she wanted ‘choose’ her and fast became one of the most sought after prostitutes in the business. Weekend trips to beautiful, remote islands and lavish gifts made it an addictive business to be in but after a number of years Joanna knew she had to find a way out. Joanna says ‘ it was soul destroying to be doing what you believe you need to do for money and not be doing what you love. I was untrained in anything else and was destroying the marriage I was in at the time.’ It took will and determination to extricate herself from her ‘profession’ and then also from her first marriage, and it was only through training with William Whitecloud and Darren Eden mastering her intuition that she could make the leap. Discovering that she was so much more than a prostitute she began to listen to her heart and consciously choose how she wanted her life to unfold. She is a talented writer/poet, funny, gentle, courageous, passionate, beautiful, mother, wife and now published author.
