I am Ras Astor Black is the Founder/Chairman of the Board of Ras Astor Black School for the Arts Institute, Falmouth, Trelawny – JAMAICA. I am a Television producer and Host on the BobArtsTV- a local Community Access Cable channel. I am also the Vice Chairman of the Trelawny Jamaica Cultural Commission and he is now collaborating with Royal Caribbean Cruise line on the “Reggae Walk of Fame".I served for many years as the host of the "Reggae Vibration" Radio Show, Northwestern University WNUR Radio and Comcast Community Cable TV in Chicago. It was while living in Chicagothat I took my popular radio show and used it to give upcoming Jamaican artists their first start in the music business. I promote the "Brand Jamaica" tourist theme, thus building my popular Jamaica Connection Tours in Illinoiswhere I would bring hundreds of visitors to vacation in Jamaica. Martins Reggae Music Awards honoured me as the Pioneer Reggae Promoter 1987 and in 1988 as the Promoter of the Year
