It's April 29 and the last call for those who celebrate an April Birthday with the Saturday Morining Entertainment Show with host, Ivor Henry and brought to you by Caribbean Global Voices. A what better way to celebrate Caribbean style than Carnival. The Carnival in St. Thomas and St. Martin are winding down but we are here to celebrate all that with you. And in addition to everything that entertains us, we've got to have a conversation.

So Let's talk. In Antioch, California text messages between police officers reveal conversations boasting about their mistreatment of Black people. Even the Mayor is a target of these racist messages. Many residents claim that the some of the text messages recount incidents of their personal encounter with the police. Five of those residents are filing a lawsuit. In McCurtain County, Oklahoma, a tape has been released of county officials, including sheriff, Kevin Clardy and a county commissioner discussing killing a journalist and lynching Black people. This has been a practice that has been put in place in the Americas and the Caribbean since the 15th Century. Could there ever be an end to the targeting of Black people? What would bring this bring about this end? Or will it become worst with the passage of time? Join the conversation or let us know what you want to tal about. We'd be happy to hear from you. .
