This year, Ramadan, the Muslim Holy Month is observed between March 21 and April 21. Sometime in that same period the Christians observe their holy period. It begins on Ash Wednesday thru the holy period of Lent and ends on Easter Sunday or Monday. To Christians, Muslims and everyone else who is observing a holy period, we convey or best regards to you as we celebrate with the wonderful fans of the Saturday Morning Entertainment Show brought to you by Caribbean Global Voices with host, Ivor Henry. You are welcome to share information on your religious observances with our listeners.

So, according to the usual variety we bring you music, inspiration, sports, greetings, humanitarian efforts, history, commentary and conversation to make an exciting day which progresses into an exciting week.

So Let's talk. The Tennessee Legislature voted to expel two Black members, Rep. Justin Jones and Rep. Justin Pearson of that law making body for joining a protest in favor of gun control. There were actually three democratic law makers, dubbed the Tennessee 3 who joined the protest and were ostensibly, subjected to the expulsion vote for failure to maintain decorum. Rep. Gloria Johnson, a white woman and democrat survived the expulsion vote of the majority Republican legislature. Was this about politics, race, protecting gun ownership or something else. Did Tennessee just set a precedent for things to come? Tell us what you think or tell us what you want to talk about; join the conversation, we are always happy to hear from you.
