Everyday that we wake up and see the sun appreciate its heat and enjoy its warmth, hear the birds, connect with the loved ones of family, friends and neighbours it is a day to celebrate even if it's not a day that goes as well as we would like. And that is what we try to do here on the Saturday Morning Entertainment Show brought to you by Caribbean Global Voices with host Ivor Henry. We celebrate with you our listeners.

In California, the City of San Francisco has begun to layout a plan of Reparation for Black People. The recommendation for the plan include: $5M payout to eligible Black adults; Elimination of personal debt and taxes; $97K income for 250 years; Home in SF for each family at a cost of $1. The words of the Vice Chair of the Reparations Committee are both commendable and informative: Centuries of systemic racism require centuries of repair. What do you think of reparations? Should Europe, Canada, U.K. and the U.S. initiate a reparations Plan?

During a webinar on March 1, 2023 one of the panelists suggested, " I think People of color should get away from white people and have some community with each other". What kind of person would say something like this when there so much emphais on diversity and multicultrism? I'm going to let you guess by telling us the ethnic identity and sex of this person. (eg. Chinese Male, Black Female etc.)  Hint: A scholar and author who came to the limelight in 2018 after publishing the Book "White Fragility".

Come on in, join the conversation or tell us what you want to talk about. We will be happy to hear from you.
