It's a new month and a new set of people will be sending their birthday and other grettings across the world. The Caribbean Global Voices is right here to accommodate you on its early morning entertainment show. But guess what? your regular host Ivor Henry will not be here today. No! he's gone off to tie the knot, get hitched, get equally yoked. Oh yea Barbara is taking him to the altar and he would not be able to leave until he says, I do, I do,  I do. Three times to make sure that he does. Imagine that, September is the month when the birthday greetings begin to get high again from a low in July. Even Ivor is trying to get some celebration in September because October is not available. So your host will be Cardinal. Everybody is asking Cardinal to fill the big shoes of the little man but he knows that is not possible so he walks with his own shoes.

So let's talk. The last survivor of an indigenous Amazon tribe in Brazil has died. He has lived in isolation since 1995 when greedy, land grabbing prospectors exterminated the rest of his tribe. - The people of the Tanaru Indigenous Territory exterminated by Genocide.

Whose responsibility is it to maintain prisons? Did you know that states run a tab on prisoners for their stay in prison. In Connecticut that tab is a whopping $249 per day.

A delivery driver was terminated from his job with Amazon because he stopped at a gas station to take a shit. It is said that workers in Amazon's warehouses have to take a leak in plastic bottles for fear of being terminated for going to the bathroom on company. Did someone say an emancipation proclamation came into effect in 1865?

Join the conversation. we'd love to hear from you. Or tell us what you want to talk about.
