As a former management consultant in NYC, he mastered valuations, business strategy, and operations by working with top Fortune 500 companies and Tier 1 private equity firms. While working at his day job, he launched an online drop ship-e-commerce store that specialized in baby products. The lucrative side hustle eventually turned into a full-time entrepreneurship opportunity when he observed that the niche was underserved in his home country of Nigeria (a population of 200 Million people meant lots of babies). He quit his job to go to Nigeria and launch the business; the promising venture eventually turned into an entrepreneur’s nightmare as within three months of starting the country fell into a deep recession and caused him to accumulate debt & lose several thousand dollars. Already a survivor of the great recession in the U.S., Chi had learned that one should never waste a good recession and that there’s plenty of opportunities when the economy goes south. He inventoried his skills & assets and decided that the best way to overcome challenging business environment was to help people solve their biggest business challenge i.e. finding customers and making sales. He started applying the marketing skills he had learned from Jay Abraham & Dan Kennedy to digital marketing and began to see results with clients in the real estate space and other local businesses.
