Collective Consciousness - the collective awareness, focus, fears, and hope of mankind - is one of the most powerful forces generated from mankind. Through the Collective Consciousness, individuals, groups and even nations have been motivated to effect change, often on global scales. Hitler tapped into the Collective Consciousness of those in his command. His most effective resource was not the fear of death for those under his command, but it was an idea shared between them: The evolution of a superior race. Hitler was making a statement (a name like the constructors of the Tower of Babel). Essentially he wanted to elevate himself to the postion of godhood. Sounds similar to the Tower of Babel story to me.
Jesus said "Where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am in the midst of them". In other words, where there is a collection of conscious minds focused on Him; or where there is a network of consciousness in anticipation of Him, He will be there!
But at the Tower of Babel we see that conscious minds collected to build this tower and God said nothing could stop them but Him. Today, conscious minds are collecting again and against God as when the Tower of Babel was constructed. Where will it lead us?
